It is an African inspired painting in a modern approach representing a lot of stories. A story of how simple a lady can be appreciated by a simple gesture of her man, where a man that can defend and depend on, and someone who can show his emotion in his own simple way. The symbols painted are adapted from African symbols that have special meanings like: “The Moon and the Star” as symbol of love, faithfulness, harmony reflects the existing bond between a man and a woman, “Love never loses its way home” as power of love, “except for God” as supremacy of God, “name of a board game” for intelligence and ingenuity to be seen painted on the chest of the man. Painted on the hair of the lady is a “wooden comb” that symbolizes beauty and cleanliness; and desirable feminine qualities.
